Combined Safari Expert Q&A

We typically use the Namanga (Nairobi-Arusha) or Isebania (Mara-Serengeti) borders. Our guides assist with all paperwork, but you must have your visas (or E-visas) ready. The process usually takes 30-60 minutes.

Yes, you need a Kenya ETA and a Tanzania Visa. Check if you qualify for the East African Tourist Visa, which covers Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda (but currently not Tanzania).

Due to licensing laws, you will typically have a Kenyan guide/vehicle and then switch to a Tanzanian guide/vehicle at the border. We coordinate this hand-off seamlessly.

July to October is ideal. You can witness the crossing in the Masai Mara and the vast herds in the Northern Serengeti.
