Day-by-Day Itinerary

Arusha - National Park Day Safari
6:30 AM. Your guide picks you up from your Arusha hotel and you set off in a private 4x4 safari vehicle toward the park of your choice. Tanzania's Northern Circuit parks are all within easy reach: Arusha National Park is just 30 minutes away, with walking safaris among giraffes and colobus monkeys beneath Mt Meru. Tarangire — two hours south — is famous for massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Lake Manyara, beneath the Rift Valley wall, is home to tree-climbing lions and flamingos. The Ngorongoro Crater — three hours west — is the world's largest intact caldera, packed with lions, elephants, black rhinos, and flamingos. Each day safari includes a picnic lunch, all park fees, and return to Arusha by evening.

Safari Season Guide
Best wildlife viewing. Great Migration in the Mara (Jul–Oct). Dry weather, sparse vegetation makes animals easy to spot.
