4-Day Aberdares & Ol Pejeta Safari

This captivating 4-day safari pairs two of Kenya's most distinctive highlands destinations into a single rewarding itinerary. Begin in the mist-shrouded Aberdare National Park, where ancient montane forests harbour giant forest hogs, black rhinos, and the elusive eastern bongo. Then descend to the sun-drenched Laikipia Plateau and Ol Pejeta Conservancy, East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary and home to the last two northern white rhinos on Earth. In the Aberdares, you will spend a night at a legendary tree lodge perched above a floodlit waterhole, watching elephants, buffalo, and hyenas emerge from the forest throughout the night. Waterfalls cascade through moss-draped ravines, colobus monkeys leap through the canopy, and the cool mountain air carries the scent of cedar and wild sage. At Ol Pejeta, the experience shifts to open savannah game drives with Mount Kenya as your backdrop. Track Big Five across the conservancy, visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, and experience a night game drive to spot nocturnal wildlife. Two contrasting ecosystems, one seamless highlands safari — this is northern Kenya at its finest.
