1-Day Tsavo East Safari from Diani | Red Elephants

5:00 AM — Early pickup from your Diani Beach hotel. The pre-dawn coast is still and cool as your C.A.T.S driver-guide heads north on the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. Watch the landscape transform from tropical palm groves to dry scrubland and scattered baobabs — the gateway to Tsavo country. Stop en route at a roadside cafe for breakfast.

8:00 AM — Enter Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. The sheer scale hits immediately — 13,747 sq km of raw, untamed wilderness stretching to every horizon. The earth is iron-red, staining everything it touches — including the elephants.

8:30 AM — Your first game drive circuit along the Galana River. Hippo pods surface and submerge in the dark water while Nile crocodiles bask on sandbanks.
